Overview

This Agreement ("Agreement") is made between the Seller ("You" or "Seller") and Best of British ("Platform"), a company providing a marketplace and recommendation platform for buyers, sellers, and recommenders. By signing up as a Seller and utilizing the platform, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth below.

1. Commission Structure

You agree to the following commission terms for any sales generated through the platform, either by Recommenders or directly:

1.1 Recommender Commission

You agree to pay a commission to Recommenders for sales made through their referrals. The commission percentage will be set by you during product listing, with the following platform minimum requirements:

• Minimum Commission: 2% of the total sale value for Recommenders.

1.2 Platform Commission (Best of British)

In addition to the Recommender commission, you agree to pay the platform a commission for sales facilitated through the platform:

• Platform Commission: 10% of the total sale value for Best of British.

1.3 Total Commission

The total commission (Recommender + Platform) will be automatically deducted from each sale. You will receive the remaining balance after commissions have been distributed.

2. Payment and Payout

2.1 Payout Process

Sales earnings, after deductions for Recommender and Platform commissions, will be credited to your in-app wallet. Payouts will be processed weekly to your designated payment method.

2.2 Commission Adjustments

You may update the commission percentage for each product, but it must always meet the platform’s minimum requirements as stated in Section 1.

3. Promotions and Advertising

You are encouraged to use in-app promotional tools such as banners and featured product listings to increase visibility of your store. These promotional activities may incur additional fees, which will be clearly outlined before activation.

4. Subscription

4.1 Subscription Terms

Sellers are required to subscribe to the platform’s services after the first 3 months of free usage. The subscription fee is £10 per month and will be automatically deducted from your in-app wallet or designated payment method.

4.2 Free Trial Period

You are eligible for a 3-month free trial from the date of registration as a Seller. During this period, you can cancel your subscription anytime without incurring any charges.

4.3 Subscription Cancellation

After the 3-month free trial, you may cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel, the subscription will remain active until the end of the billing cycle. Once cancelled, you will no longer have access to premium seller features, and your store may be delisted from promotional features.

5. Responsibilities

5.1 Accurate Listings

You agree to provide accurate product descriptions, pricing, and shipping details. You are solely responsible for fulfilling orders and handling returns or disputes with customers.

5.2 Compliance with Laws

You agree to comply with all local, national, and international laws regarding the sale of your products.

6. Termination

This Agreement may be terminated by either party at any time. However, any pending transactions and commissions owed will still be processed in accordance with the terms outlined above.

7. Acceptance

By clicking "Accept," you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions, including the commission structure for Recommenders and the Platform.
